First couple of sketches made February in clay, cast in May 1999 for Viking/Skidbladner to be placed as a 260 cm high bronze at L´Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a Canadian National Historical site in Newfoundland, Canada in 2001.
Richard Brixel makes the arriving and the Canadian artist Luben Boykov makes the receiving.
