1967-73 M.F.A in Sculpture at the National University of Fine Art in Stockholm
1963-68 studies at the faculties of Law, History of Art and Philosophy at Stockholm University.

Solo exhibitions in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Norrköping, Linköping, Luleå, Örebro and a number of other Swedish cities.
Brixel has also exhibited in Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Rumania, Germany, USA and elsewhere.

Major public commission works among others in L´Anse aux Meadows, Askersund, Beijing, Eskilstuna, Karlskoga, Karlstad, Kumla, Leusden, Lindesberg, Ludvika, Stockholm, Södertälje and Örebro.
Represented at art museums, county collections, at the National Arts Council and in public and private collections in Sweden and abroad.

Scholarships, grants, projects by sponsors, basic remuneration, travel grants to Canada, Netherlands, Italy, Japan, the USA and elsewhere.

Initiator of the "Art Week" in Sweden, of the Örebro Artist´s Collective Studio and College of Art. Chairman of the Swedish Artists´ National Organization (KRO) 1983-85. Chairman of Swedish International Association of Art (IAA) 1983-88 and other commissions of trust.

Participant of many international conferences and symposia. Member of KRO, the Sculptor´s Association and the Artist´s Club.
